Associate's Degree - 2 year degree - 64 = credits required

This degree will be awarded to students who have completed a minimum of 64 semester hours of study or its equivalent. If the nomenclature of the degree is entitled Associate of Arts then 25% of the degree should be in general studies. This degree includes basic and interdisciplinary learning.

Bachelor's Degree 4 year degree – 128 = Credits Required

The Bachelor's Degree will be awarded to students who have completed a total of 128 semester hours.

Master's Degree – 45 Credits

The Master's Degree will be awarded to students upon completion of 45 semester hours of study above the Bachelor's Degree, including a submitted thesis of six semester hours. The Master's thesis must be typed on not less than 50 pages covering a topic researched in the student's field of study.

Doctorate Degree – 45 Credits

 

The Doctorate Degree will be awarded to the students who have a recorded document of high quality scholarship and 45 semester hours above the Master's Degree. In addition, a thesis is required of a minimum of 150 pages double spaced typed or the equivalent there unto. Some original research in the subject area is required in the student's field of study.

Honorary Degree

 

 

Aletheia University will grant no more than two Honorary Degrees in a course of the year. The Honorary Degree will state on the face of the degree, Honorary Degree. The degree

will be given by the board of Aletheia University to people who have a major achievement in their field.
